Parent Support
Below are some links which may help parents who may be going through a difficult time:
http://pocketparent.com/ - Some parents float through their parenting years and never seem to encounter problems, or need advice or parental guides and still produce well balanced, happy kids. For the rest of us, there will be times when we need some type of information, advice and tips, so here at Allkids we've tried to put together a fundemental resource which should be able to answer most of your problems, or point you in the right direction for the answer.
The scheme will provide financial help in two ways, but ONLY where there is no alternative help available:
- Where urgent short term help is needed in exceptional circumstances, for example after an emergency or disaster, or to prevent serious risk to a person's or their immediate family's health or safety.
- Where a person needs help to establish themselves in Redbridge after being in institutional care, as part of a planned resettlement programme, for example after leaving prison or residential care.
Please note: No cash payments will be made unless exceptional circumstances apply.
RESS can also provide free advice and information on income maximisation and how to make your money go further.
